not a study on population (epidemiology)...

just individual assessment (Muhasabah) =)

1. Introduction

- Bachelor of Pharmacy in IIUM Kuantan Campus requires 4 years of study

- Now, subject is approaching to the final semester which is scheduled to be started on 7 Dec 2009, InsyaAllah...

2. Background

- A lot of knowledge and experiences gained from year 1 of study starting on 2006

- All of the core and elective subjects were given through lecture, visit, laboratory work, hospital attachment and etc.

3. Hypothesis

- Final semester of study should make a competent final year students with sufficient skills and knowledge before become a pharmacist.

4. Research Question

- Can a final year pharmacy student integrate all the knowledge he gained to get a better result compare to previous semester?

5. Aim & Objectives

- To assess own understanding on the pharmacy course

- To make a proper planning for the final semester

6. Materials & Methods

- Materials: All core and elective subjects that will be taken on coming semester

- Methods: Do proper planning of timeline for study and other activities throughout the semester

7. Data Processing

- Examination Result Slip will be analysed using specific software such as...

i. Microsoft Excell

ii. SPSS - chi-square test and t-test (:P tak de r nak guna ni)

8. Expected Research Outcome

- GPA of final semester should be higher than previous semester

- CGPA should exceed 3.0 (insyaAllah... optimis membawa kenyataan)

9. Conclusion

- The research may not be valid to other people since this is only done to individual person, not in a population.

- Al-Qur'an wa as-sunnah (jadikan keduanya rujukan, nescaya anda tidak akan sesat)

Post mortem Fourth Year First Sem

Alhamdulillah... selesai sudah semester pertama tahun 4 farmasi UIAM.
Banyak pengalaman baru dipelajari. Banyak ilmu baru difahami.
Terima kasih tak terhingga kepada para pensyarah dan kawan-kawan yang membantu diri ini.
Tanpa bantuan Allah memberi petunjuk kepada kalian, tak mampu diri ini sampai ke tahap ini. Jazakallahu khairan kathira...


Bagi mendokumentasikan perjalanan semester yang lepas, elok rasanya dibuat post mortem. Muhasabah kelemahan diri. Mencari potensi diri.


Total 7 subjek diambil dengan exam dan 1 subjek tanpa exam


1. PHM 4112 Quality Assurance

- Perlu extract isi penting dan jadikan nota yang lebih ringkas.


2. PHM 4122 Sterilization and Aseptic Technology

- Perlu tumpu dalam kelas


3. PHM 4132 Pharmacoepidemiology & Pharmacoeconomics

- Perlu baca buku dan internet


4. PHM 4143 Pharmacotherapeutics I

- Perlu banyak bahan bacaan, tumpu dalam kelas, refresh bila nak dekat exam


5. PHM 4153 Dosage Design 2

- Agak susah. Perlu tumpu dalam kelas. Kalau balik baru nak study memang tak sempat.


6. PHM 4162 Pharmacy Practice 4

- Agak senang. Perlu banyak buat repot. Tapi kemurahan hati memberi pinjam report untuk diambil isi mungkin akan di tiru bulat2 kerana kesuntukan masa.

7. PHM 4192 Clinical Nutrition

- Perlu tumpu tutorial yang diberikan.


8. PHM 3123 PK

- Perlu rajin bertanya junior. Lecturer baru approach baru.


9. PHM 4171 PBL 2

- Perlu mahir membahagi tugas dan menyiapkan tugas sendiri.


10. PHM 3012 LS

- Kesilapan sama seperti pharm prac 4. Kemurahan hati dibalas dengan peniruan yang tidak memuaskan hati. Jangan haraplah lepas ni nak dapat softcopy tugas dengan senang. Barulah faham kenapa ada lecturer tak nak bagi softcopy note. Isu plagiarism memang serius.

- Rasa malas kerana teramat stress
- Kurang jelas matlamat peperiksaan
- Kurang mendekatkan diri kepada Allah
